About Michelle

Michelle earned her BS in Biology from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame Indiana. She holds a MSN in Nurse-Midwifery from Vanderbilt University.

Michelle has always had a passion for women’s health. With attending an all women’s college, Michelle quickly realized her view that healthy women help the world. She quickly researched her options for becoming a women’s health provider. This led her to becoming a doula during her senior year of college and matriculating into her MSN program in Nashville. She still believes keeping women healthy and empowering them to be their best selves is the best way to keep the world moving forward.

Michelle believes in safe, woman-centered care and seeks to help all the women she cares for to have an optimum childbirth experience of their choice. She has a particular interest in working with women through the postpartum period. Encouraging patients, and their families, to utilize resources and support to further overall health outcomes for all.

Michelle recently welcomed her first child, her son Nathaniel on December 14th, 2018. She and her husband, Danny, are enjoying watching him grow and learn. They now spend less time at brunch and more time singing silly songs hoping their son will make the cutest belly laugh. Their dog, Zach, is not impressed . . . yet.
